A Penny For MY Thoughts?
This section is where I will give advice on any topic I feel suiting.
Today, I want to talk to you all about the "love" and what society think vs what I think.
Society, in all its omnipotent power of influence, makes teens believe that love is all about physical relations. Society pressures young people to dive right in and start doing things that are obscene. I personally do not believe that this is the essence of love. I, as a Christian, have a slightly religious outlook on this situation, but I'm not going to get into that. I am going to address this in a secular way. Love is so much more than sleeping with someone. It's this uncontrollable feeling of wanting someone and wanting to make that person happy. It's when you never feel alone, because you know that person is there with you in spirit. It makes you see everything in a positive light. But, overall, it's just that feeling of belonging. You belong with them, and they belong with you. That may sound kind of cheesy, but that's the way I see it. And I like cheese, cheese can be good sometimes. :-) The point I'm trying to make here is, don't believe everything society tells you, because society is just out for the money. That was a really dumb way to end this post, but hey, I'm new at this.
Until next time,
